E90 radio issue

I have a 2007 E90 with the professional radio. Issue is the radio would kind of freeze from time to time. I'm not sure if it looses signal to the radio station or if it is the system that freezes. You would be listening to kakaranda and suddenly it goes quiet. Station info stops streaming etc.

Also the build sheet says the car has bluetooth and I find it on the menu, but my phone will not pick it up and neither does the car see the phone. Best guess it is not working. Could this be related to the freezing/ loosing signal? Is this a known issue?

Ok, anybody have an idea where I can take the car for someone to take a look at the radio? Pretoria preferably

It maybe an issue with your MULF unit the in the boot under the cover.

Replace...but get it checked before splashing out cash

Thanks, does the same playing a CD, so something must be busted.
