E90 M3 service advice needed

Hi all. Needed some advice with regards to my 2012 E90 M3 with 60 000km's on the clock. Motorplan is up until 04/2017 but my car is due for a service now in October. There has been no major mechanical issues with the car asides for a faulty hood sensor (or so I believe) that is throwing out a hood open light every now and again for the last 2 weeks. Also had a persistent orange engine light triggering which seemed to be due to a faulty battery. The car has had its routine servicing as per Motorplan from 2012 until now. I use it as a weekend car and do less than 7000km's per year with it. I have 2 questions if any of you may be able to assist :

1. What should I ask them to check considering that it is the last service this vehicle will be having under Motorplan?

2. I have not yet requested a quotation from bmw for a Motorplan extension as it is not within 6 months of expiring as yet, but would you advise to consider an extension bearing in mind the bearing issues that are known to occur on the S65 Motors?

Appreciate any advice that you guys have to offer :ty:

1. Check all the regular wear and tear items
- shocks
- brakes
- clutch
- annual service items like coolant change and brake fluid change
- any other items that are troubling you

2. Definitely worth having motorplan, depending on the price. More than R20k per year makes it a bit expensive to swallow. It's insurance and with only 7000km a year, you may not even claim a cent of it.
