E90 M-sport Ride comfort on 19's ?

Hi

I currently have 17" RFTs and considering 19" non-RFTs. Anyone changed from 17's to 19's on a M-sport suspension?

Has your ride become very hard? Does your tyres touch with a full load? Any drastic power change?

Thanks

your ride will be better on the 19's with normal tires.

+1 the RFT's really give a tough ride

I had an E90 on 17" RFTs and currently have 19" RFts on my E92.

The 19" RFT's make the ride alot more uncomfortable. The stiff sidewall and the low profile is the killer. Hope you not going with style 225m rims. Mine cracked 3 times. Eventually had them replaced.

Go for non RFT's if you can.

My 330i has 17" RFT on narrow and wide setup - has a harder ride even with the standard Exclusive suspension compared to a sports suspension with 18" narrow and wide setup running normal tyres! So I would imagine that 19" normal tyres would be not too much different.

i changed to 19`s... Ride is way better than the RFT`s.

Ride is not that hard...
Does touch a bit with a load... ( But then again i have 275/30/19 at the rear)
Not a DRASTIC power change but you will surely feel the difference.

My car was fitted with 19's from the factory but it had runcraps....

took them off and replaced them with normal tyres, and there is a significant difference in the ride & handling of the car. its no longer rock hard &no longer suffers from tram-lining.

i say make the move, you wont be disappointed...

I went from 17 RF to low(er) profile 18 non-rf & it improved the ride slightly...

i just changed from factory 17 rft's on my E90 sportspack to 19"s non-rft - and the ride is softer and really enjoying the car - finding it more engaging. Not to forget the car is looking mighty fine :) :) awesome stance esp at the back.

Post some pics of ur ride once done
