E90 lci oil consumption

Hi Guys,

I have a 2010 E90 lci 320i with 135000km
The oil is always low on computer.
Do these cars take oil or could the oil sensors be faulty.
Pls advise?

This is a big Ass problem with the e90 4cylinder petrol models,
I had to top up my 320i every month with 1Lt of oil. :skit:

Thats the reason I sold mine, check valve stem seals / oil seperator!!
Many guys have had this prob on the forum as well, but the fanatics will send guide you through the process!

I have replaced the valve stem seals on mine (pre LCI) but have not changed the oil separator as yet. However, I also switched to Shell Helix Ultra when changing the valve stem seals. I have never had to top up since, only oil change service, and this was about 30k km ago.

I stopped following BMW's CBS and am now changing my oil every 15k km. Considering going down to 10k km.
