E90 LCi heater blower problem

Howz'it Gents.

I wonder if someone could help. My blower motor suddenly stopped working about a week ago. I checked all the fuses, all seems ok. I pulled it out, tested it on a 12v battery, motor works but it doesn't work on the car.
There is no rust and the motor turns with no effort. Bmw East Rand did the blower control recall on the 28th of March.
Any Ideas?

I did one last month. Pull the blower and lubricate it. Then it got fixed.

In your case, use multimeter to test the power source, see if the contact is good and provides 12V when the aircon panel activates the blower.

I guess somebody done some shoddy work on the recall.

If the Motor works with a 12V test, then it should be the wiring they changed on the recall.
Could also be the final stage resistor.

Resistors is my guess, cause im in the same boat.
Think its about R2000 from BMW.

I think I'll try this. If it doesn't work. I'll take it back to them

i would rather take it back to them before fiddling... they could easily turn around and say that someone else other than them has been in there and tell you that the warranty for the workmanship is null and void..
