E90 Issues - ABS, DSC, Battery, Auto Wipers, No Turn Signals

Hi Guys,

As per subject, Car is a 2005, 320D, E90.

I've been getting "amber" ABS, DSC, and Brake Warnings coming on after driving the car for over 30min in traffic. Once in a while the transmission limp-home mode would activate meaning the car then drives in only one gear. When this happens, car is very lumpy at idle like it wants to stall.
If I continue driving then wipers come on automatically, and turn signals become disabled. Sometimes when I switch it off, it'll display a yellow battery icon, which led me to believe it's something to do with the battery.

So I took the car to Speedy, the tested the battery and alternator and said all is good. I also took it to a workshop and they also confirmed that no issues with battery and alternator as battery is holding charge and no major spikes on alternator during load.

The workshop used a "Launch" Unit to diagnose the car, and it came up with IBS Sensor error. A few days later, car was in the workshop for an oil change service, and asked for them to test the ABS Sensors. Not sure if this was done, but I got a report from the "Launch" unit with another IBS Sensor error but this time it registered 4x Glow Plugs and Alternator error.

I'm going to try the following:

a) Check the fuses - even though workshop said they checked'em,
b) Remove the battery and have it charged overnight,
c) Clean Wheel Speed sensors and possibly
d) Test Wheel speed sensors with a DMM.

Based on the info provided, what is the most likely cause of this issue? Anybody had a similar issue before, and most importantly am I on the right track?

Looking forward to your responses.

I had same issue with my car and the problem was a bad airbag module. I found a video on youtube done by vehix411.com. Here is the video.

IBS cable or S cable needs to be replaced. I still have to do mine. I would suggest you get a BMW Mechie to replace for you privately.
