As for the engine sound: I am assuming that your car is still under motorplan, if that is the case your only options are to get the BMW performance exhaust or the AC schnitzer exhaust (JSN motors sell the ACS bit here in SA) but what you will be paying for these don't really make them worthwhile, in my opinion at least.

I contacted JSN Motors and they quoted me about R12,000 just for the rear silencer replacement with their tailpipes, ridiculous :thumbdo:

Two be honest the E90 exhaust system is a bit complicated, with sensors and it has four Catalytic convertors, any upgrade to the exhaust system will require software changers as well.

Akash is right I feel ur pain. I have a E90 BMW 325i sport with all the M trimings. The car looks nice and sounds okay but I feel that BMW removed the fun or should I say driving pleasure from the later model BMW's. Way to eco friendly for my liking!
Where do I start....
I hate the Cat convertors - I would de cat but the motor plan has one by the balls!
I hate the rear muffler....
I hate the retarded throttle response but I found a solution for it - Sprint Booster! I have it, I love it and I don't care what anyone says about it! Think of it as an after market sport button.
In short, it you want the BMW sound then buy a 330 upwards.... because it will costs a arm and a leg for all the upgrades...
