Excellent job Philip!

As said, Brighton Panel and Spray do a fantastic job and both Mike's there are fantastic people to deal with.

Glad the bumper is all sorted now. :joy:

you will be glad you didnt take it to forsdicks...
they had my girlfriends car for like a month last year to replace the front bumper after a really minor accident, and they gave us the run around from day 1, it was the most pathetic customer "service" I have ever received in my entire life.

Well, I actually want to go back to them and speak to the same guy that I had dealt with that would have me believe that you have to have diagnostics done to reset and clear errors with the PDC, and see what he thinks about the errors, or rather the lack there of!

Besides, to reset the PDC can be done within the car itself, simply hold down the PDC button and wait for it to beep - Voila! :nonono:

I was just wondering, wouldnt BMW void the motorplan if they find out that the car had been resprayed at a non-approved repair centre?

Who knows! 10 days left on my motorplan so...

They send lots of their premium used cars to Dent Doctor etc for touch-ups - in fact there is evidence that the previous owner of my car had a minor front bumper scuff repaired in this manner, and the car was inspected for motorplan transfer before I bought it.

Sorry to hijack, but any plans regarding post-Motorplan maintenance policies/warranties?

Actually a good point! Going to make some enquiries and see what sensible options are available. Otherwise DIY as much as possible going forward!
