Just posted a thread of the build I am busy with:
Part of improving this build I need to get a much shorter diff ratio, as on a track I dont really need much over 200km/h top end but much better acceleration through the gears
Have not checked my current diff ratio, but as per most websites it 3.15
Ideally a 4.11 would be great, but cant find that ratio for a e90 anywhere, the shortest I get on any spec sheet is a 3.91, which will also do the trick.
However the 3.91 diffs I've found is a "baby" diff, a smaller diff housing with much thinner CV's and does not look the part, not really sure if this will last with the 330's power with much more traction from suspension and semi-slicks
Ive saw somewhere on the internet that some e60's uses the same diff but different rear cover,
Or the other option stays with a e90 diff, but same size?
