E90 Black Sapphire 330i

Hi guys, I haven't uploaded pics of my car before so I thought I'd share.
This is my 06' E90 330i, 6-Speed Manual, M-Sportspack in Black Sapphire Metallic. The interior is Black Dakota leather with Aluminium trim. It has just under 110k km & going strong. She truly makes me smile every time I shift, I love manual. I had 3 prerequisites when looking for my new car: Manual Sportspack 330i. Found her on Gumtree, I was the first caller & it was love at first sight. When I drove her for the first time, I knew she had to be mine.
I've had her for about 3 months & so far I've changed the mags, tyres & most recently, I did the rear LCI conversion. I still have a long to-do list but won't be doing anything performance wise.

These pics are far from the final form & she isn't perfectly clean yet. I haven't done any color correction or editing besides hiding my plates.

Thought I'd add some pics of my dads 645Ci & my ex, an E46 Individual which I sold about 2 months ago. It had 96 000 km & was in the family for 8 years, she will be missed.

Great car dude  are you planning to do the LCI conversion to the front as well?
Thanks, I prefer the Pre-LCI front, to me it looks more aggressive. I love the V-shape on the LCI bonnet but you cannot install the bonnet on its own & the LCI front bumper doesn't do it for me. The bottom edge looks too straight, similar to the non-sport.
So I won't be doing the front, although I will be installing the LCI headlights. I'll be doing a slight tint & I need to refurb the mags (I got them with some curb rash). The rest of my mods are top secret :tease:

looks awesome ...still love the 6 series convertible :praise:
It's stealing my 330i's limelight :nonono:

It's huge & demands precise steering to corner at speed but tap the go-pedal & you'll find your stomach in the back seat...
It's auto though & for me, nothing beats the feeling of dropping to 3rd & flooring it :inlove:

The E46 was truly an amazing car & the E90 feels bulky in comparison.
I can't wait to see what the 2series Gran-coupe looks like. Hopefully it'll be similar to the E46 in size. I absolutely love the F30, especially the new grill/headlight combo but the 3 series is getting too big.

My Wife summed it up nicely for me one day, her point of view - the E46 is a beautiful car whereas the E90 is a lot more masculine if that makes sense. From the driving perspective they have their similarities and differences but the E90 definitely feels bigger and heavier (steering weight especially), but at the same time the grip levels and handle is still something else! Even on my Exclusive it really is sure-footed and holds the road!!

E46 to E90 felt like going from a small hatchback to a sedan. I could park that thing in an instant in the smallest of bays. I have to get used to the E90 that's all & I'm loving every day of it. People look at me funny when they catch me staring at it or stealing a quick pic

Nothing wrong with that! Also still enjoy just walking around and looking at my car. With regards to E90 dimensions, I find that the nose is pretty long and not always easy to judge - or put it to you this way. In the beginning I would park the car and bring the nose as close as I would feel comfortable (without using the PDC) and then take a look and see that number plate is literally a centimetre away from the wall!! So luckily leant that lesson early on!

Black is a nightmare to keep clean & don't get me started on scratches...
I'd prefer white, silver or blue BUT when black is clean :inlove:

Finally coded her & blacked out the grills. Will upload pics soon...

What other plans do you have for your car?

I also have a black E90 330i sportpack and love it!

Your car looks awesome with those wheels!

I was thinking of putting Hamann Rear diffuser and dual exhaust pipes until I saw the cost of Hamann stuff

Have you serviced your car since you got it? If so what did it cost if I may ask? My car is going out of Mplan soon and would like to know
