So a few weeks ago my car was throwing errors & went into limp mode so I used my cable to determine the problem & got the following errors:
Crankshaft-exhaust camshaft correlation
Throttle-valve adaption value
Throttle valve
Following Philip's guide (link below), I removed them, let them soak in unleaded overnight, dipped them in fresh oil to remove excess petrol & replaced them. My car was sluggish at low revs, felt like there was no low-end torque & throttle response was terrible. Now it pulls like a diesel :biglol:
So I've been enjoying my new-found torque these last few weeks & decided the car needs some TLC. So it's going in for a service (oil/filters) & yesterday I picked up a K&N filter. Fitting took 5mins & found some bees & other bugs glued to my OEM filter :biglol::rollsmile:
Haven't really noticed a change in the drive & the 6cyl soundtrack hasn't changed much either. Maybe slightly louder? but still sounds stock
She still needs the rest of her service & a full detail with paint correction.
Got my DA kit ready :joy:

I'll give more feedback on the K&N as I drive
