It has been proven that it does not. Not even on turbo cars. In some cases you will even lose power because of heat soak.

I have also heard the same. The other fact is that it does mess up your airflow meter in the long run. Some of the oil used for the filter become vapour and stick to the airflow meter.

Seems it fits Euro box (ours) & the US Box takes a flat filter.

Yes it does, USA use flat panel, we have cones

I did mine last weekend, the diesel filters are really long and the stock one was pressed against the boxs intake hole and had a square black patch so no air could flow to the other parts of the filter which seemed stupid to me because it uses a massive air filter. With the K&N air can get into the airbox and be filtered throughout the air filter.
