Complete thread hijack - Hows the Citi 1.8 R Line treating you DNS?

Love those cars just because of what they are.

Verdicos results are out of the book correct! But figures are at the coast!
here comes the catch! Those figures are time vs speed.. and not time vs distance!
A manual E90 330 stock runs around a 16s 1/4mile up at the reef and the 335i stock runs a 13.8!
So trap speed will differ between 15-20km/h but time is a rape case!
If you got the cash you will want the 335i..

but i honestly feel the 330i is heavier on juice:banghead:

I get a combined 13-14 l/100km on my 335i Auto. On open road, say JHB-DUR, I get 9-10 l/100km. I doubt a 330i is heavier than that.

Haha, I know that, of course the 335i is faster. It doesnt mean that the 330i is a snail.

The 335i feels so much faster than 330i. The car should have come stock with a G-meter because the acceleration from 0-200 is breathtaking.

lol true street racer. If you compare 330 with merc 350 or audi 3.2 then the 330i is qiuck, and for a 3.0lt it is generally a quick car but when you bolt on two turbo's it something special guy

I agree w the comments re the 335 being much, but much quicker. I had the 330 6 speed auto, and now have the 335 w dsc. The difference is from water to wine. I guess difference is further amplified in the altitude (as the normally aspirated engines loose more power than the turbos). Whilst the 330 would be quick, I would still be left behind by many cars on a traffic take-on. Not so w the 335. And if after a while you get used to it and want some more power without changing cars, you can get significant more power from the 335 through software tuning, somethng you cant do on the 330.
