e90 330d or a F30 320d

What must I do Got a offer 2011 E90 330d with 68k on the clock for R360k and the F30 320d for R440k. With 9000km.

Im tending towards the 330d but mileage is bit high but its got power and economy.

what do you guys think?

What is your needs? how long you going to keep it? Are you concerned with having a motorplan? do you need the extra power from the 330D or the extra fuel consumption from the 320D?

I can give you my opinion, but you going to live with the car, and you will get different opinions. Personally I would take the 320D, but that's me, as it fills my needs, as I wont use all that power.

As said above it depends on your needs.. Personally I would go for motorplan and effeciency.. so F30 320d. Also resale value will be better on the F30..

68k is not high mileage, especially not for a diesel, unless it's the service plan that bothers you.

It depends on your finances, and like Tigger said, your personal needs.

The F30 is the smarter option especially if you consider you can get them for under R400k with Sports Package!!

As someone who loves power, I'd still take the 320d unless you go for a cheaper E90 330d for a while then upgrade to F30 330d when the time is right :idea:

Ive got a 2013 demo with 1000km on it full house.. M Sport, 19"s, Nav Pro, Roof, Xenon and all the other bells and whistles...

Car will sell for about R560k

F30 320d's are already turning up in the used department.. I have a few 2012's going for R350k.. Sooo much car for the money..

I singed for the F30. Test drove and I was impressed with it. Yes its not a 330d. But the F30 is the better option.

I drove a F30 320d auto for a few days, it's one impressive car, very closely matched to the 328i in my opinion :thumbs:

the f30 looks okay,but i still prefer the e90,just looks better for me

had a f30 316i as a loan car and when i got home last night,just didnt look right ,parked in the garage,the e90 on the other hand just looks at home

I always preferred the e90...but on the new specimen BMWs I much prefer the F10 Sport over F30 Sport. That's just me :tease:

I went with the F30 320d and I have had it for a week now and I am so happy with it. Im surprised how that 320d pulls compared to my 325i. I was against diesel but I am now converted and my next car will also be diesel.

I got 700km on my first tank and about 7 liters still in the tank when I filled up. Just bare in mind that I played alot like taking on a citi golf 1.6i and e90 323i and won just looking for a 325i e90 to try and see. I think the e90 going to be behind but will catch me on top end for as you know my previous BMW was and LCI E90 325i. Also a few family members for an test drive to show how it pulls. So my consumption is amazing for me.

As one of the Fanatics said

and ask myself why the h.... did I not do this sooner???

I had the exact same question before me and I decided to go for the E90 330D.

White, sportspack,sunroof,Xenons,PDC, Dynamic Pack,auto & black on black interior.

2010 model, 55k KM & spotless I just couldn't say no.

Urgent sale for R265k, cheapest I could find was a F30 320d was R300k on gumtree.

Hope I enjoy my E90 as much as you do your F30 and congrats on your new ride Iceman!

No you wont be sorry and you will enjoy the 330d. Lots of power. Just some advice on a diesel. The heavier the foot the quicker you will replace rear tyres.

congrats to your find and that's a good price you got there. Yes I enjoy the F30. I had a 2009 e90 325 LCI. The gearbox on the F30 is magic its smooth and virtually no delay when changing gears. Yes the 330d is faster and not a bad car but when I compare the F30 handling to the E90 then the F30 is obviously far ahead. But you got the 330d for a realy good price and I would also have gone for the e90 330d at that price. :thumbs:
