Had a new file loaded on the car 2 weeks back and went Passed KAR where I had my first dyno with the decat.

Torque is not throught the roof till I service box then will advance some timing but quite happy...boost comes in a bit later but holds longer.

Next is a hybrid turbo and watermeth...Will be happy with 235 ish and 650 nm but that's what's in the pipeline.

Awesome graph for a diesel!!:clapper:

Who did the tuning if you don't mind me asking? May have missed it if you mentioned earlier in your thread.

New years update

I got my hands on a Devil's own stage 2 progressive kit .

So over the weekend a few mates and some Beer I installed the kit.

Brenden from Devil's sorted a diagram and I installed accordingly ..
Firstly it was cooler off to install nozzle..opted to drill the cooler as I still have the oem 335 cooler
..drilled and tapped on the cold side and ran solenoid wires and meth line to the boot underneath heat shield and undertray covers.....

Next I ran wiring and decided for s stealthy controller install in ashtray compartment....I fitted an aditionall power toggle switch aswell....lastly was the tank install with I found another stealthy spot in the lower boot compartment ....

After I closed all covers and tested lines etc went for a drive...I was however not getting any boost pressure to the controller...Chatted to Nihkil and realised I had tapped a vacuum line thus no boost signal. ..I then decide to tap the hot side of the cooler and fitted a fitting to the controller vacuum line....and SUCCESS.......

I then played around on the controller settings so that under normal non aggressive throttle pump and nozzle does not turn on...for this I kept the psi rating jus on 1 bar ...progression comes to a point of 1.4 bar where I have full nozzle pressure ....

I can basically drive the car with meth on but no nozzle spray and jus throttle when I want it to activate....

I'm trying a 50 50 ratio of water and meth....On my first couple runs the car smoked like a train.....I was slightly nervous but guys said it's the meth cleaning out all the engine build up .....the more I drove the less it smoked.....I have a basic obd tool and ran logs before and after ...I need to log allot more but so far results are positive

Car runs around 13 degrees cooler with meth engaged...
Boost with meth holds 1.6/7 bar from 3rd gear ....without meth it fluctuates to about 1.5 so definately holding boost longer...will have to do some long term runs and see or try get some dyno time....

Car has no flat spots either ...I will play with controller and ratio to see what works best...so far very impressed .

Car does seem to pull better but will have to gauge against a few cars to see.....

Have a before dyno graph so will go back and do 2 runs ...with meth on and off....

Will keep thread updated

I am partaking in Michellen Cup so will have allot of cars to compare against both on dyno and at odi and Tarlton events ....there are a few track days aswell so car should be happier with lower temps on track ..

Small update

Took the car for a dyno run on Saturday morning at KAR.
Did a Base run with watermeth turned off then a run with watermeth on...

No methanol 202 wkw and 540 nm
With methanol 218 wkw and 624 nm (car was spinning a bit on the dyno so possibly a bit more)

The idea was not to see power but rather to see how effective the watermeth is ...so far very happy

Next is a new file with a bit more fuel and boost and watermeth just there to keep things cool and in check

That's massive gains for just WMI! No changes to the file at all between runs?

Enjoying this thread... Keep the updates coming! :)
