most i think u could do would be decat and exhaust .... its not gonna sound like an e30 325i though... and gains would be minimal .. maybe just for the roar .. anything else i feel may just not be worth the money spent ..

The 2.5 straight six is designed to be a smooth motor, perfect for the daily drive, relatively light on fuel and a good performer.

It's not a robot to robot racer by any means. I agree with Teezy_F30. I've left mine completely standard and just enjoy the smoothness.

Ive had mine remapped by XcedeCT...

I can tell you its really worth it.... the car is more driveable now... does not feel so lazy low down and opens up nicely up top

I am yet to go for a dyno but will try arrange that next month when I have some spare time.

I rate the remap is better than exhaust upgrade however I will possibly do a decat when I can.

ive removed the cats on my E92 and changed the stock air filter to a BMC performance filter, i can feel a difference the car feels a lil more responsive, and tones better at the same time my fuel consumption has improved.

I think the N52 engines are at their peak power already in terms of NA power.

The remap will help to bring the power in alot earlier in the rev range.

The power gains will not be that noticeable.

Try a supercharger for guaranteed results. The suppliers state that gains of 100 hp and up is there for the taking.

The only catch is the price. :skit:

:sorry:

Yes I agree a supercharger will do the trick but the price you can buy an 330i and even a newer model. don't expect miracles to do a bit here and there. the best you will gain is better drive ability. Good luck
