E90 325 Facelift Service Indicator

Excuse my ignorance...

My car is currently on 35k km (went for service at 29k km). When I start the car I see a red service light that comes on but goes off after about 10 seconds. IIRC it was orange a few weeks back.

I can't remember if this is normal? Does the light stay on all the time if it needs to go in at BMW?

Go through the Service -info on the on board computor it will show you what service is over due. Maybe the dealership did not reset the service indicator.
