good day Gents

need some advise, it seems my intake vanos on my 07 323i is faulty got a error code of 002A82 and 002A98 for inlet camshaft, what kind of cost am i looking it to have it replaced?

Replaced my vanos solenoids 2 months back. Got them from dealer for R2300 each. I suggest doing it yourself. There is a brilliant thread around the forum for this by Philip Foglar.

PS. Replace both solenoids if you can afford, chances are the other is also on its way.

Yes. The dealers checked up mine for me. They can tell what was replaced by them. It good to know if common failures stuff like, when or if the water pump was replaced or door lock actuators etc.

Also note: they can only tell what was done by them and not by private workshops.
