Hi guys,. I would like to get a bit more sound out of my 323I six cylinder. I know its not a fast car and I appreciate what it is. I am not trying to extract power as I know N/A cars don't get massive gains for the money you pay. I contacted ATM chip tuning here in Durban and I spoke to a very knowledgeable guy and he said that they would prefer me to do a software upgrade as well because once the decat has been done the car will start over fuelling without software. My questions to the fanatics is, will this increase the sound without it droning and give it a nice crisp BMW six cylinder sound? Again this is not for power but a nice crisp sound.:ty:

I have a dual 50mm on my m50tub25. Very happy with the sound. A guy at power flow told me if I put in an x-pipe she will sound better. Wasn't interest coz i really love it. Can't help wrt software etc as mine didn't have cats. Unfortunately I don't have a sound clip to upload

It must sound awesome. I am really keen to do mine just want some advice first as I am new to this.

Just like the OP, I am also interested in doing a decat for a purely audible improvement. I am still doing research as to how many CATS my car has and whether I will need software, resonators etc
The forum members have suggested Ralf from Speedway Motorsports, so I am thinking of visiting him for these mods... Maybe he can sort out your 323i too!

@S1NGH 911 why would you not recommend ATM? Is there another company based in Durban that you would trust?

@Zound thanks for your response, I am also still learning about my vehicle and also doing research. I think Ralf is based in JHB whereas I am from Durban. Thanks for your response though.:ty:
