Thinking of getting one of these for daily commute to work and return

What are the differences between them besides the styling. Any engine changes?

LCi - Life Cycle Impulse

The E90 (Pre-Facelift) is the one like Rooi-Willie's
The E90 LCI - is the one i have ie. the prefacelift with very small additions that are in the facelift E90
The E90 Facelift - is the one with the changed rears(tail-lights and bumpers) and fronts (headlights, bumper...everything)

Mine has the engine, exhaust, radio & aircons buttons, and small nigglies that make it an LCI, this is as explained to me by BMW Head Office.

So youa re wanting to get either of the 3, they are actually 2 with BMW making the LCi in between the release of the facelift.

and btw, mine is for sale if you want lol:roflol:

Actually the LCI (aka facelift) refers to the face lift models, ie with the new bonnet, grill, bumpers and red tail lights.

I would assume its just right that you car have the items I highlighted :fencelook:

Agreed with Sabre...
05 - 09 - Pre Lci
09 - 12 - Lci

The differences are only cosmetic, inside and out, LED taillights and front corner lights... new bumpers/bonnet etc

Thanks....

Is the ENGINE the same or has it had a few changes?

Test drove both but for some odd reason the LCI seems more of torque/power

Agreed, mine does. i also explained this to BMW SA, and they still coming abck to me about it. the Factory Rep insisted on the above as i 'quoted' and my arguement was it was only 2, because my car is VIN'ed as an LCi but i get pre-facelift trade & retail figures, which i understand is correct as it is pre-facelift.

will follow up more on the dilemma of his nonsense talk

Hi GUYS

sorry to hijack the post- relatively new to the site....

i have a quick question....
i recently purchased a 320i e90 2012- facelift.....
92534 km on the clock....

wondering if it would be worth extending the motor plan with BMW or consider an alternative like the hollard motor plan?

Do not purchase a E90 320i, LCI or not, you will regret it. These cars are very slow and relatively heavy on fuel, especially the auto.

Rather buy the E90 320d:thumbs:
