E90 320i Tappet cover gasket

Howzat guys,

Been a while since I have posted and in that time my wife and I bought new wheels :inlove:. Both are 2007 white E90’s. Ones a 320D sportspack and the other a 320I Auto. Will post some pics soon of them :thumbs:

So I noticed the 320I has a oil leak on the tappet cover gasket and was considering changing this myself…anyone done this before as a DIY? Do’s?Dont’s?

I changed mine on my N42 two weeks ago. The N46 is more or less the same motor.

I bought from masterparts fro R330.
It is fairly easy, straight forward.
Only issue I had was the gasket kept on falling of from the cover, I sorted that out by using some silicone to just keep it in place.
