hzit guys..

I just got my 320d a few weeks ago with 150 000 km on the clock. the car is beautiful and runs perfectly except for only one issue. I top up the water in the wiper fluid tank and within a few days a warning light on the dash comes up saying that the windscreen washer fluid is low..
but!! there is basically only a few drops of water leaked when I check under my car after I park it?? so im not sure whats happening to all that water in a just a few days.

can anyone help with some suggestions?

hi prienv

congrats on the ride, wish you many happy miles,
please do take the time to do an introduction

welcome to the forum

i had the same issue, apparently one of the hoses may be leaking to headlight washers, check all connecting pipes in the left front tyre well( if i remember correctly, thats where i found the problem)

most of the water is not seen as it collects in covers underneath the car

hope you come right

Don't mean to hijack but how do the headlight washers work. Got my car just over 3 months now and never seen it work... Tried a couple of times but just end up spraying on the windscreen only...... What am I doing wrong

I was wondering the same thing... until i tried it with the lights on.

So to my knowledge, the headlight washers only activate when the lights are on.

They will only work with the lights on.

With regard to the leak. It could be anything from the pipe that runs to the tank or the tank itself.
