E90 320d problems :-(

Mine turned out to be the fuel pressure control valve that's located on the HPFP. It has two wires going into it. Got a replacement from GW for about R1500 and its a very easy DIY.
Many mechanics will tell you injectors, fuel rail sensor or valve, HPFP but honestly these rarely go bad.

Hi, not sure if this will be the error, but in my case i had a similar problem. I replaced the crank shaft sensor which is under the starter and that solved my problem.

Thank you for the responses. I took mine for diagnostics and they found a leaking injector. I hope it's the cause of these symptoms.

However, I'm being quoted:
1. Injector copper seal - R172.
2. Labour (3.5 hours) - R2380.

Is it steep?
