E90 320D ECU CHANGED

A good morning to you all all the way from South Africa.

My ECU got water Damaged and yesterday I bought one from a junk yard, immediately when I started the car The ABS DTC lights illuminated orange and it was never there with my original ECU Tried to clear the Fault codes with no luck. And also my car started Smoking wildly after installing this junk Yard ECU.

Please Help.

Did you clone the data from the old ecu to the new one?

Yes apparently when I got the new ECU the Technician said it was done. However since you asked me this Question, I’m starting to think I was ripped off that is not the case.
