Mate exactly the same here ! Mixed driving every day and im at ~7.8-8l/100km, but true is I mostly dont drive like an old mankillua said:I can never go below 8l/100km with mixed driving. My average is about 8.5l/100km. Pure city driving it doesn't go higher than 8.9l/100km. The only way I can get 4.7l/100km is when I reset my meter on the highway doing 120km/h.
But comparing the 8.5l/100km average of the 320d to my previous 1.8T A4, which sometimes was on 14l/100km, I am still very much happy. I have to add, my driving route does not have any highway driving, which would have made it much better.
