Hi I just bought a 320D 2008 pre facelift. The car moves great it a beaut. Any advice on what common problems the car could give as the Motorplan is almost up the milage is 99000km. Should I extend the Motorplan or take a warranty.

Welcome!

What is the cost to extend?
I'm guessing quite a pretty penny... Rather save that money up for when something need attending to

Try to get some maybe a machanic to look at your car and try get codes red then take it to Bmw and get them to sort all the crap out if any,or take it in and get them to read the codes.Reason why i say take it to some one else is that my mac found stuff wrong that Bmw didnt even bother to check and gave my car back saying all good here.

I extended my motorplan once, was like 80c a km or so and it was not worth one cent of that but then again you never know when or if something will go wrong and thats what you extend you mp for. My opinion dont extend

Probably not a good time to tell you that the turbo ALWAYS explodes 50km after MP expires and then BMW wont pay for it (R1000 000) then the rims crack (R100 000 each) Damper Pulley rips off and egine seeze up (R2000 0000)

So as you can see its not worth it to keep the car...

Just kidding mate, have it checked before MP runs out and stay on their case until you are happy with what ever needs to be done. Then I would suggest maybe a warranty.

Many happy miles, your going to love the Diesel!
