Hi guys. The turbo on my 320d 2009 model seized I got another turbo but the actuator doesn't boost the turbo... the turbo looks like it's from a 120d(google).... the actuator housing is different on both turbos.... is it still possible to put the 320d actuator on the 120d turbo and fit it on my car.

As far a i know the E90's have the Mitsubishi turbo with the electronic actuator and the 120d (older ones i think) have the Garrett turbo with the vacuum operated turbo. Would be interesting to see results of vacuum operated Mitsu turbo, though. Not sure if it has been tried before. Keep us posted. Just as a matter of info, i understand that the turbos are calibrated on the test bench and the actuator is then locked in place for that particular turbo.
