E87 Seat swop?

Evening gents,

Time to post after a hiatus.

Has anyone successfully swapped out the OEM seats in their E87 with possibly E9x / E9x M3 / F80 M seats at all?

Can only imagine what sort of nightmares the electronics may give you, but would be great to find out if anyone has successfully carried this out.

Any advice on this subject would be most welcome.

Swapped out my E87 non m sport seats with E90 M sport seats was a straight swop luckily didnt have electronics

As for the electronics you might need to do some programming

But e8x and e9x are compatible with many parts

Investigate amarock seat swap options maybe?

I'd imagine that they run very similar electronics and dash's that E8x and E9x seat swapping shouldn't be a challenge:
