E87 120D M47 - Common issues? Im new

Is this car registered in your name? If so was wondering how the dealer got it through roadworthy as they normally will not certify it for roadworthy if there is a red light on on the dashboard.

If a seatbelt light, they can overlook it as long as the seatbelt is working, which is what they test for COF.

From what i was told, the car already went for road worthy the same day i got the car so perhaps its possible

Hi Stompie
Just following up...2 years down the line. How has your experience been with the 120D, M47?

Been a bout a year and 5 months now and put on 25k and hasnt skipped one beat. Still going super strong and getting great mileage. Havent done anything except oil service x2 and air filter. Found that the EGR thermostat was reading 60c when driving so just diy replaced and all still going 100%. Must be the best car ive owned to date. I have unplugged the vacuum pipe to egr as well.
