E83 04 turn signal

Anyone aware of the location of the turn signal sound, the tic-toc when turn signal is activated. The blink light indicator works. Its the sound... goes mute from time to time. Seems as though the sound comes from behind the dash?

Narrowed it down to the dash cluster...any help to be provided... thanks in advance!

Cluster....dead!
Made my way to the car salvage yard, was able to pick a cluster from a donor car...still needs to be coded/programmed with the correct vin.

In my research (mo's ago) I read that for the 04...if you use a cluster from another 04 the situation would be plug and play therefore no coding/programming.
Can any one verify.

An 04 just arrived at the boneyard.

Not true...not plug and play...new vin will needed to be programmed in.

I know on the older vehicles it was on the hazard switch, but no idea on the newer cars. Did your entire cluster go dead eventually?

Total cluster went bad.
