Hoses 600
Vacuum hose 220
Labour ..nudda

To the long list of Tlc needed by my car I had time to give the car to a mate that does detailing ..


Cars paint is in such poor condition...so many swirls...i don't think the previous owner new the difference between a soft sponge or wire wool...

Any ways the car is getting as much love as possoble..i doubt all the deep grooves will be resolved but it can only be better than the current state.

Cars getting a full stage correction aswell as ceramic coated ...

In all honesty I think it needs a sandown and complete clear coat but for now a detail is on the menu ...

Always something to do on the n54

Most oil leaks seem sorted now ...
Decided to replace the boost seals as there was signs of residue and in the long run possible boost leaks..
Cleaned the cooler and replaced seals..gave it some black paint to refresh slightly .
When I was changing the lower thermo cooler found residue on the housing so replaced those seals aswell ..

Also do you know if yours has EPS or Hydro Steering? Which do you prefer?

Interior i have not really looked into much as of yet ...i would like to fit the updated satnav from the n55

Also do you know if yours has EPS or Hydro Steering? Which do you prefer?
I have an atf resevoir so i assume hydro steering..

What year model is your car?
Our 1er has the exact same Issue, also white. Detailed it a few weeks ago and could not get the paint corrected. The scratches are deep inside the clearcoat, hundreds and thousands of them.

In certain spots with a light you can still see some tiny marks but a million times better
