Been a member on here for a while.

Had my e90 330d which gave me 65000 km trouble free motoring.
I used the car on track and at many events.
Not one days issues.

Recently bought the wife an x5 from a fellow member in Cape Town.
Since then my poor diesel has stood as i have company car.The diesel just did to many things well.

Drove in my mates worked 135 and my arse started to itch.
Previously i only had coupes and missed my S5 with a sore heart...The v8 grumble was beastly

But since the 330d i am a bmw die hard fan.

So here my new Cabby is.

2009 Msport 135
Oxblood interior
Paddle shift
Bmw Performance exhaust.
Black wheels.

I have hunted for a manual but like hens teeth.
Plans are to first do a box service and go through the car front to back.
Firi as always has much advice to offer so will be helping me out with parts etc.

Collected the car yesterday.

Initial impression ...
Very responsive compared to my diesel and revs like a bitch compared to the diesel although not fair to compare. In stock form i know my worked diesel gave the 135 a hard time.Im sure with a few mods she will liven up.

I did manage to give a golf 7 gti a lesson on the way home tho and we all know nothing faster than a golf.

Exhaust tone is very nice with the performance box .Car feels smoothe and silky.
So far one very happy N54 newby.

I will keep updating my thread as i progress.

Firstly paint is dull and poor compared to my ceramic coated 330d
So it will be going to my mate for a full detail inside and out.

Plans include 1m front bumper
Replace pcv
Oil thermo cooler
White Angel leyes
Led interior lights
M4 style carbon boot spoiler
Charge pipe
Intake
Sw(jb4 )
Backend flash
Bigger cooler
Down pipes
Replace stock head unit

And here she is:tiptoe::tiptoe::tiptoe:

Beautiful ride!:clapper: You won't regret leaving the diesel behind lol (The only thing you would miss is the fuel consumption).

I was on the hunt for a manual E92 when I decided I'll look at a manual E82 as well because of the scarcity of both in manual.

Enjoy it and many safe miles!

Congrats Dean! Not sure if I missed it above on the list, but you have to do black kidney grills like you did on the X5!!
