E60 530D intermittent starting issue

Hi. need some help please. I have an e60 530d, have intermittent starting issues, car will swing for a while before starting, sometimes it starts instantly, sometimes while swinging it just stops swinging completely, turn ignition off and try again then it starts. battery has been replaced already. What could it possibly be? even if i drive for a while, stop for 5 mins and try it struggles to start. thanks

Never had this problem but could by low fuel rail pressure, crank sensor, camshaft sensor. Get it on diagnostics. Might give a better indication as to what is wrong.

Sounds like a crank or cam position sensor, best to read codes
