E53 X5 facelift swirl flaps

Guys, please help me here. Does the facelift X5 diesel have swirl flaps? I know for a fact that the pre face lift did not have swirl flaps, and read that the facelift also did not have swirlies, even with the 500nm motor. Is that correct for our SA X5's?

No X5 E39 has swirl flats. I have the facelift and researched it intensively. I also looked once when I had the cover off the engine and saw no signs of the :skit:

I also discovered that to my relief as i was not looking forward to removing them from my X5, but as you have said, no swirl flaps on the E53 X5 diesels.

Can confirm that there were no flaps on my 2005 X5 3.0d auto
