Pulled the stock backbox out and decided to restore it. Not sure which M3 I want to fit ir on but its ready...

Started with Prepsol the fine steel brush and machine alu polish. It was a slow and painful process and took me haĺf a day but pretty stoked with the result!

Looks great Andy, I would recommend using fine steel wool prior to using the Alu polish. The steel should make the metal more consistent.

Theres not much to update on this one. Oil service and filters... Brake pads (Textar OEM) and preventatively I decided to change the waterpump as I have not done so yet...

I know the car had a thermostat, waterpump and temp sensor change by shane around 2012 but Felt I wanted to cleanout the radiators myself and change the pump to the uprated steel impeller.

After years of searching I found a 2nd set of CSL wheels. There is a God

It just takes one drive to be transported back in time and realise how amazing these cars are...

I fall in love everytime I drive this car and remember all the labour of love thats been lavished on it and the driver feedback it provides.
