e46 Smartie box repair

As per subject, my wifes beloved e46 looks like a white smartie box after a bad paint job. This happened when the front bumper got ripped off, and the right front fender dented in the process a while ago.

It is going to the paint booth tomorrow :bravo:

This is the bonnet, looks like it was painted with a 75mm paint brush !

I complained about the price of this piece of plastic. Id rather pay for a new one as my plan for the cover does not look too fresh:

I took the car to LZ to hopefully assist him with some business and to please my wife (very important). :rollsmile:

But we spent friday on her and flatted down all of the bits.

I could not say it better. I should have had it repaired by a professional first time round. Thanks for taking good care of her.:ty:

Some smartie box updates.

This car is going to be a challange... there must be about 6 differant shades of white on it..

There is a great deal of discolouration and general paint yellowness.

We cleaned a section of the front door, and matched the paint to that.

A full abrasive polish will be done by hand tomorrow, followed by another abrasive with the orbital to see if we can get the paint right if not, its back in the booth.

Keep the car as long as you need to paint her nicely LZ.
