e46 ride height

i was parked next to an e46 318i today and noticed my car was lower than it

i though i had standard springs but maybe i have sports pack

does the e46 318i ride higher than e46 323i or do i have sports pack?

The springs also sag with time, so maybe it was newer than yours...

it was also pre facelift so a doubt there could be that much difference... it looked like mine was about 20mm lower so it could have sports pack :dunno:

is there anyway to find out?

If you do not have sportpack bunpers and wheels, then you almost certainly do not have sportpack. My 530d does not have sportpack, but it is more than 20mm lower than a sportpack model...

well then im guessing they just sagging... met the previous owner of my car and im sure he would not bother putting sorts pack springs on

I think the standard springs have a yellow marking on and the sportpack ones have a red and white marking.

now im thinking maybe a 35mm drop is not that much my car could even have a 35mm drop now :thinking:

if anyone has pics of how their car (e46) sits on standard/sportspack/aftermarket springs please post pics from the side also what springs and what size tire

Was also thinking about that, as that is the standard ride height for the sports springs, so don't really see what the problem is :thinking:
