So this little beast found its way to my driveway :)

Titan Silver with facelift bootlid led lights and PDC. Angel eyes and 180k kms on the clock. Surprisingly she is still running quite strong compared against the best of the s54's and she is stock aside from the decat I had done on friday.

Cosmetically she is not bad at all compared to a couple ive seen out there. Riaan helped me restore some former glory to her with his original M3 wheels and new shifter knob and pouch. The steering wheel and driver seat has aged very well. Engine bay is also 100% original with all the relevant covers clips screws and trimmings still intact. Just goes to show that some of the older M3s have been somewhat cared for despite popular belief.

The car is lowered and although im living with it for now i want to raise it back to stock. That is if i keep her for long enough.

The interior is untorn and generally not molested and such a wonderful place to be. I really missed sitting in these lovely supporting seats.

I have not yet taken proper pics as I was more concerned and invested in the car mechanically as apposed to cosmetically. For now at least.

The tail lights were sprayed dark in an attempt to smoke them (im assuming here as i dont know why else) but whatever the reason i didnt like it. It had to go. Here is a before and after.

Left one almost clean and right still blacked out.

As can be seen it has a carbon diffuser which i quite like. It needs some tlc to be restored to a good condition. Which ill do this week.

Ill add more detail and pics of the car as soon as ive washed her again.

Its simply amazing how durable tough and reliable these cars are. After all these years its still running problem free and provides the biggest of smiles. It is nothing short of astonishing.

The famous one liner from Jeremy clarkson comes to mind when he describes the CSL. "This is BMW at their absolute Best!"

Full documented service history. With the last couple of services done at Tune tech. As well as the clutch being replaced by budler.

I forgot to mention that I read errors on the car and the only 2 present ones were Katalyst conversion bank 1 and 2 :) That is what prompted my "decat"

This car is really impressing me the more I'm spending time with it.
