Hello everybody,

I got a random issue here... its killing my brain....

Ok so the tyre pressure monitor on my car works 100% with the stock 18' wheels no issues....

The minute I put on the 19'z this sucka murra cries as if I have a puncture. I turn it off and it just comes back on.

Sometimes I'm driving and the damn thing comes on and I feel like I have to stop and check...

To sum it up, 18'z FINE 19'z PEEEP! Tyre monitor :smashScreen:

Any ideas?

Thanks.:crazylaugh:

I think you'd need to re initialize it after fitting 19s. Can't remember the exact process but it's slightly different to just resetting it. Google.

When running 19's, your wheel size becomes very important. If they are incorrect, due to difference in rotational speed (How the sensor works) the light will be triggered.

For example. On my M3, when running 245/30/19 at the front and 275/35/19 at the rear, my tire pressure sensor works as it should, but when running 245/30/19 and 275/40/19, the light will be triggered.

Try do what Spiro suggested first as you do need to make the system learn, but I do know that if there is a massive difference in wheel speed between front and rear the light is triggered.

Iam running exactly those spec tyres you jus mentioned Chris, my flop is the flippen thing keeps coming on, ive also done the reset procedure. And mind you it use to work perfectly, before I did some balancing on my wheels took all four off, then after re fitment, I started getting the red light special :biglol:

I take it you mean the 245/30/19 at the front and 275/35/19 at the rear?

Interesting how balancing affects it. Hmmm...

Wow...I jus double checked...245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 back....I think I see where the problem lies here. Time for tire change

Good to see that I'm not the only 1 having this issue. It kills me. lol!

I hate having alert lights on the dash... SIGH!

Ive done the reset but after a few days, PEEP, she's back on.

But ok, I refurbed the wheels now, I just need to fit them again :crazylaugh:
