Ok, so a while back I bought the above car (WBC special) with the idea to fix it. Will sell it once its running again or will give it to a family member. I could not drive it when I bought it due to diesel pouring out of 1 injector on startup. Start up every time with no idle problems. 189 000 km.
Did complete service with new everything from oil, vacuum lines, run-off diesel lines, filters, etc.
I fixed the leaking injector that failed the pressure test. New nozzle fitted.
Turbo core was fine but vnt assembly was replaced.
EGR and Cat removed.
Now it starts, drives like crap, with quite a bit of white smoke. Coolant system is fine although I am going to fit a new thermostat and bottle.
Makes no difference if i unplug the MAF.
Any ideas? I also worry about the vacuum pressure converter next to turbo and that 1 injector with the wire that goes to the pump. Not sure how to test those?
