Just wondering if the traction control is different on the M3 or normal E46 models. My old 325ci I could press once and "half" turn it off (just the dsc light would show), or hold for a few seconds and completely turn it off and then the hand brake warning would show yellow as well as the dsc light.
With the M3 it doesn't put the hand break warning sign if I hold down, just the dsc light. Is it completely off if just pressed once? To be honest I'm a little too scared to find the limits without any traction control, until I get the car on a track.
However I find it cutting in much too early, braking the wheels and it feels horrible. I'm still getting used to the car, but I find it interfering early than a couple of weeks ago? Just looking for a bit more freedom before it reels me in.
