IMHO, if the E60 M5 is written off and all that'll happen to her is scrap - then salvage as much as you can! And that includes the V10 6 litre motor and put it into the M3 :=):

There is nothing that quite really beats the smell of new leather in an interior :drool: best way to get new car smell......well make everything new again :rollsmile:
Oh and for those wondering the car starts - yup that is how far the project is along, and the sound from the exhaust, albeit that there was a bit less of the the exhaust than there should be, it sounds insane and really menacing, and this is only at 2k rpm :dropjaw:
As for the short shifter that has been fitted, it is pretty much as short and direct a shifter as I have ever felt, changing gears are like toggling a switch, really awesome.
Anyone close by should really make a plan to go see this project for themselves, just so much time and effort goes into it.

Went there Thursday evening right after work to pick up my clutch kit, didn't really have time to let everyone know and so on, M3M5POWER was also waiting for me so didn't want to make him wait longer than was needed, already did me a huge favour.
If it was over a weekend I would have let the guys know and we can make a nice event of it :rollsmile:
