You got the right one, the parts system says it wont fit the M3. There is a little alightment screw thats in the way, but according to the dealership workshop, you can just remove that alignment screw thing with no ill effects.

Otherwise if you really want to, you can drill a hole for the alignment thingie.

I found 1 guy that had it fitted, but cant find it now.

I paid R4500. Will do it this weekend, or the next, or maybe the one after. Its not straight bolt on. Some electronics need to be relocated.
What im trying to do in the mean time is find a sandwich plate. My e46 has the bumpy towers, but the strut brace is flat underneath. Still fits fine, but it would be better if there was a plate to fill in the spaces, from a reinforcement perspective.

Sank already has one one his car. Looks awesome sauce.

Suede has been in the e36 for over a year. Have not done the e46, have no need to. Will only do it if the current headliner fails.
