dont know about M3 , but my buddy at Powerpipes in fordsburg did a setup for me on my 330i and the signature 330i tone is still there , still sounds like a bmw but the best tone ive heard on a 330i by far.

I was at the ring late last year & I soooooo wish I had a BM instead of a stage2 Suzuki Swift. Those bends......:inlove:

For me, one of the reasons I bought my e46 ///M was the rasp. The banshee like scream was also music to my ears :joy:

I have to agree I love the rasp as well, will have to have the cats removed soon and replaced with straight pipes. This doesn't change the sound too much but from what I have heard the car starts rasping at around 2000rpm instead of 3000rpm :inlove:
