I would trade the 1M for this in a blink of an eye.:fencelook:

This area looks dodge. The reflection is split which is usually a sign the car has had some work done:

The colour also looks weird. Although this might just be the photo.

When buying a car like this; Yes.

You need to see the car in person. Pictures don't always do it justice.

In any case, that is way better than some of the new cars BMW sell nowadays.:fencelook:

I would rather have a new 1M than this car.

Hi Chaps!
I just registered on here to say this is actually my car and thanks for all the kind comments!

But Legacy...I don't know what you're talking about?

Look at the 'reflection split' in loads of these other car's images on the internet in exactly the same area (sorry I don't know how to post pics on this forum so will just have to put the URLs up):

1) Look at the 'jump' in the image of the reflection of the red corvette's wheels in this image?:
http://www.nmbmwcca.org/photos/BMWPICS/slides/BMW E46 M3 CSL 148.html

2)Or do you see this pic and look at reflection of the yellow arrow on the ground? It has 'split' and there are two arrow points?

http://www.flickr.com/groups/bmw_m3_m5_m6/pool/with/6157751329/lightbox/

3) Or look at this photo of an M3. Why does the yellow line jump and furthermore the silver car reflected appear to have two sets of back wheels in exactly the same area?

4) Or one that really shows this well...ok it's a hideous car...but look at the reflection split in the same area on this car:

http://www.bmwquebec.com/viewtopic.php?topic=137

In fact, I've just been outside and taken a look at my wife's old E39 Touring and depending on where I stand and look I can easily get a 'reflection split' or see double part of me in the side of that car too! I'd take a photo but I don't know how to post it on here anyway.

Greetings from the U.K all!

My vote goes to the CSL. I think the engine is more special..esp since we'll never see an engine like that again. Only thing it needs is a manual conversion :p

Still dig the 1M though..

Anywho.. :)
