Made a difference in 1-2 shifts on Z4M (difference gearbox though AFAIK), the 2nd gear pickup on Z4M is very jerky - either you have to be super gentle or you have to hammer it. Trying to do a "normal" pull of then 1-2 shift just makes the gearbox groan.

I removed the CDV on my old Z4 3.0si and it made a noticeable difference in clutch engagement which felt much more direct and controllable.

The M3 has a different clutch and gearbox though, so I don't know to what extent the CDV removal will make a difference.

Did the CDW delete on my 330ci and made a noticeable difference in clutch engagement during spirited driving.

I’ve done it on 3x ///M Cars now (2x z4m and a e46 M3) , it definitely makes a difference.

None, just jack up, clamp the line, remove the CDV, screw in the line in and then bleed the clutch if needed and u are done .
