E46 Cooling fan protective housing

Hi guys, yesterday my cooling fan shredded and damaged my radiator and the plastic protective housing that surrounds the fan. Not sure what happened, but managed to get the car repaired and drive the 700km home ok. I still need to replace the protective housing, any ideas on where best to shop and get it fitted?

Do you need to replace both the front and the rear sections of the shroud? Which year and model is your car?

It's a 2005 325i. I can send a pic of it, it's a send square piece of plastic with a round gap in the middle for the fan to rotate , with place for electrical boxes to rest on. Without it, I can see the top of the fan blades, so nervous if anything drops into the area again and damages the fan.

You are looking for part numbers 1 and 3 then I would presume.

Number 3 depends on the make of your radiator fan.

That's the front part of the shroud. The ETK price is around $30 so it should not be too expensive from the dealers...
