Based on our Southern African climate... how many people with higher mileage cars have had to change their CCV/PCV system on their cars because of a failed diaphragm that can cause oil to get sucked from the sump? or perhaps because of vacuum related issues?
the overseas guys seem to have plenty issues with this, but appears mostly because of their cold climates. when i re-placed the rocker cover on my car a little while back, i found some of those CCV pipes to be quite fragile..so im looking at this as more of a preventative thing to do in the next few months.
the whole kit can bought for about $130 online, and i found a good youtube video on doing this without needing to lift the intake. does it seem like a necessary thing to consider though?
