E46 330i question regarding intake boot

Morning gents,

Just a quick question, can anyone identify what the thinner pipe is in the picture below? Mine was brittle and broke off, went to the agents and they have no idea what that does or what the part is.. Isn't on the system either.

The smallest one is a normal vacuum hose.

Go to any Midas and get a replacement, just measure the length of the piece beforehand.

Managed to find a fix, just waiting on parts. Just putting this out there for anyone who experiences a similar problem:

It goes down to the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel filter.
