E46 330i mystery water loss

I have noticed that I lose water from the wiper bottle, it empties out in a day. I have put food dye in the reservoir to try and trace the leaks, nothing after driving around thinking it will leak. I park the car and start cleaning out the boot.

I then hear water dripping onto the exhaust so I flip the bonnet and see water which is now blue, dripping from both nozzles on the dash, literally running out. Hence I found the leak. Since there is no pump noise and the car is not on, any ideas why and how this car is doing this? Must I replace the nozzles or injectors?

It could be the pump. Under normal conditions, the pump stops any water from getting past it. Hence, if it is draining on its own, then it has to be the pump letting water through somehow.

I just replaced my pump got one at Goldwagen for R85 and 1 min to fit.
Is your breather hole not maybe blocked, with the heat build up in the engine bay the bottle builds up pressure that's maybe why its pushing out at the jets.

the heat build up would push some water out but i doubt it could push all the water out in one day... it would take a few heating cycles to get all the water out...

if the water is coming out the nossels then does the windscreen not get wet while you are driving?

Thanks for the responses guys,

No, the water runs out from the bottom of both nozzles, ie they discharge into the engine bay, hence it leaks onto the top of the micro filter cover, and then runs onto the exhaust via the drains.

I am gonna shoot to Midas this am, see if they can help.

I also have the light sprayers, ie I have xenons. I wonder if something there is maybe Adding to this?
